"Paris in August", was the theme of a contest organized by the website MylittleParis in collaboration with mabellephoto. With a certain sense of irony, my pal Wilfried, author of the blog 200 ISO,  sent them a photo of a woman crossing Pont des Arts, hiding under an umbrella, rain pouring down from a dark sky. And he was right to do so, the photo got selected for a show with the twelve best photos! Congrats Wilfried and keep up the good work!

"Paris en août", c'était le thème pour un concours lancé par le site MylittleParis en partenariat avec mabellephoto. Avec un certain sens de l'ironie, mon pote Wilfried, auteur du blog 200 ISO, a envoyé une photo d'une femme qui traverse le Pont des Arts, cachée sous un parapluie, dans ce qui semble être la déluge. Et il avait raison de le faire, la photo a été selectionné pour une expo avec les douze meilleures photos ! Félicitations Wilfried et bonne continuation à toi!

"Paris i augusti", var temat för en tävling ordnad av web-sajten MylittleParis tillsammans med mabellephoto. Med en viss ironi skickade min kompis Wilfried, grundare av bloggen 200 ISO, in en bild på en kvinna som går över bron Pont des Arts under ett paraply, medan regnet öser ner från en mörk himmel. Och det var helt rätt av honom, fotot blev utvalt till en utställning med de tolv bästa bidragen ! Grattis Wilfried och lycka till i framtiden !

En ce moment précis, se fait la délibération d'un concours où j'ai participé, sur le thème du quartier de Chaillot.
Je suis allée voir toutes les photos participantes aujourd'hui à midi; elles sont exposées à la mairie du 16eme arrondissement. J'étais un peu déçu, parce qu'on n'y affiche ni les auteurs, ni les légendes que j'avais fournies pour mes photos. Tant pis.
Naturellement, je vous tiens au courant pour le résultat.

Just this very moment, the result of a contest where I have participated, with "Chaillot" as a theme, is coming to a conclusion.
On my lunch break, I went to see all the entries, as they are exposed at the mairie of the 16th arrondissement. I was a little disappointed, because they don't tell who did each photo, and the texts I sent with my photos aren't shown either. Well, not much to do about it.
Of course, I'll keep you posted on the result.

Just nu, avgörs vinnarna i en tävling som jag deltar i, på temat "kvarteret Chaillot".
På lunchrasten idag, var jag och tittade på alla tävlingsbidragen, då dessa finns utställda i borgmästeriet i sextonde arrondissemanget. Jag blev lite besviken, för det står inte vem som har tagit bilderna, och inte heller har de tagit med mina bildtexter. Inte myckat att göra något åt.
Jag håller er naturligtvis underrättade om resultatet.

Je suis à la fois fière et heureuse d'annoncer que ma photo "Des roues et des ailes" a obtenu le premier prix dans le concours Ricoh "Ce que voit l'œil". Le prix est un appareil photo Ricoh GXR avec deux objectif interchangables : un 50 mm macro et un zoom 24-72 mm. Youpiee!

I'm happy and proud to announce that my photo "Wings and wheels" has won first prize in the Ricoh contest "Ce que voit l'œil" (What captures the eye). The price is a Ricoh GXR camera with two lenses : one 50 mm macro and a 24-72 mm zoom. Youpiee!

Jag är glad och stolt att kunna berätta att min bild "Vingar och hjul" har vunnit första pris i kameratillverkaren Ricohs tävling "Ce que voit l'œil" (Vad ögat ser). Priset är en Ricoh GXR kamera med två tillhörande objektiv: ett 50 mm makro och en 24-72 mm zoom. Hurra!
