Rencontres Photographiques du 10e

Fifteen selected photographers, two exquisite corpses and a fabulous photo game by the collective Faux Amis. Thursday was the opening night for the main show of the 4th edition of the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e.

Quinze photographes sélectionnes, deux cadavres exquises et un jeu photo fabuleux signé le collectif Faux Amis. Jeudi soir a eu lieu le vernissage de l'exposition centrale du 4eme édition des Rencontres Photographiques du 10e.
Femton utvalda fotografer, två cadavres exquis och en fantastisk foto-lek av kollektivet Faux Amis. I torsdags var det vernissage för huvudutställningen i den fjärde upplagan av Rencontres Photographiques du 10e.

The photo festival Rencontres Photographiques du 10e is organized by the Château d'Eau library, known for it's vaste collection of photo books. This year, for the festival's main show, curator Emmanuelle Schmitt-Richard has selected fifteen portfolios. The theme that lingers around it is "memories". 2011 also set a record in submitted work: 138 photographers tried to get a corner of the townhall!
There are a number of outside galleries and other exhibition spaces included in the festival. You can find the full program here. Together with three other photographers, I'm part of a project called Partageons le 10e ("Share the 10th") that will be showed at the Maison du Canal from the 31th of October. More on this to come.

Le festival photo Rencontres Photographiques du 10e est organisé par la bibliothèque Château d'Eau, connue pour ses grands fonds de livres photos. Cette année, pour l'exposition centrale, la commissaire d'expo Emmanuelle Schmitt-Richard a choisi quinze portfolios. Le thème tourne autour les "souvenirs". Pour la 4eme édition, il y a aussi eu un record de nombre des dossiers participants: 138 photographes ont tenté d'avoir une place dans le grand hall de la mairie de 10e.
Des nombreuses galeries et d'autres surfaces d'exposition dans le 10e sont inclus dans la programmation. Ils sont tous ici. Avec trois autres photographes, je participe dans un projet nommé Partageons le 10e, que vous trouverez à la Maison du Canal à partir de 31th octobre. Plus d'infos à venir.

Fotofestivalen Rencontres Photographiques du 10e arrangeras av biblioteket Château d'Eau, känt för sin stora avdelning med fotoböcker. I år har festivalens huvuduställning satts samman av curatorn Emmanuelle Schmitt-Richard, som valt ut femton portfolios och sedan skapat utställningen kring temat "minnen". 2011satte också rekord i antalet inlämnade arbetsprover: 138 fotografer har tävlat om en plats i den stora salen!
En mängd gallerier och andra utställningsytor runt om i tionde arrondissemanget finns också med i programmet. Du hittar dessa här. Tillsammans med tre andra fotografer deltar jag med ett projekt kallat Partageons le 10e (ungefär "Dela på tionde"), som finns utställt på Maison du Canal från den 31 oktober. Mer om detta senare.
