I am happy and proud to announce that my first photo reportage has been published! With journalist Laurence Despins I went to the house of Christine Nivet, just outside Paris, for Le monde des ados magazine. Christine is a french designer who has published a DIY book on how to create objects in a "kawaï" style. The word is japanese and means "cute".

To help us out with the photos, we had three beautiful young ladies posing, one of them being Christine's own daughter. All afternoon they were working on their projects : a mascot, a brooch and a scrunchie. 

While I was taking the photos, Laurence learnt all the crafts secrets from Christine and we then had a look on her beautiful collection of japanese Blythe dolls. In between, we were treated to some of her delicious lemon tart and a glass of mint tea. Indeed a nice way to spend an afternoon working!

Je suis fière et contente d'annoncer que mon premier reportage photo a été publié ! Avec la journaliste Laurence Despins, je me suis rendue à la maison de Christine Nivet, dans la banlieue parisienne, pour faire un article destiné au magazine bimensuel Le monde des ados. Christine est une créatrice française qui a publié un livre comment faire des objets dans un style "kawaï", japonais pour "mignon".

Pour nous aider avec les photos, il y avait trois jolies jeunes filles qui posaient, une d'entre elles la fille de Christine. Tout l'après-midi, elles travaillaient avec leurs bricolages : une mascotte, une broche et un chouchou pour les cheveux.

Pendant que je prenais les photos, Laurence a appris les secrets de fabrication de Christine et après on a pu voir sa belle collection des poupées japonaises Blythe. Entre les deux, on a dégusté une délicieuse tarte au citron et bu du thé à la menthe. À mon avis, la façon idéale de passer un après-midi de travail !

Jag är glad och stolt att kunna berätta att mitt första bildreportage har blivit publicerat! Tillsammans med journalisten Laurence Despins, besökte jag för ett tag sedan Christine Nivet, i hennes hus utanför Paris, för att göra en artikel för tidningen Le monde des ados. Christine är en fransk designer som publicerat en DIY-bok om hur man tillverkar accessoirer i "kawaï"-stil. "Kawaï" är japanska och betyder "gullig".

Till bilderna, hade vi tre vackra unga damer till vår hjälp som poserade, en av dem Christines egen dotter. Hela eftermiddagen arbetade flickorna med sina olika projekt: en maskot, en brosch och ett hårspänne.

Medan jag fotograferade, fick Laurence lära sig en mängd pyssel- och sömnadsknep från Christine och efteråt fick vi ta del av hennes fantastiska samling av japanska Blythe-dockor. Däremellan, fanns det tid att smaka en underbar citronpaj och dricka mint-té. En perfekt jobbeftermiddag med andra ord !
