Paris Cookbook Fair/Festival du livre culinaire/kokboksmässa

Out of sheer gluttony, I went to the Paris Cookbook Fair, where you’re invited to taste with your eyes. I didn't only find cooking books, there were also photo exhibitions as well as tattooed dancers from the Pacific.

Par pure gourmandise, je suis allée au Festival du Livre Culinaire à Paris. Où on mange littéralement à l'œil. À part les bouquins de cuisine, j'ai aussi vu des expos photos et des danseurs tatoués du Pacifique.

Av ren och skär frossarlusta, besökte jag Paris kokboksmässa. Där du inte bara provsmakar utan också får titta dig mätt. Förutom kokböcker finns här både fotoutställningar och tatuerade dansare från Stilla havet. 

Paris Cookbook Fair is open until the 6th of March, so you have all weekend to come to the Centquatre and look through  books, taste Swedish cheese and French foie gras, watch the kitchen shows or whatever makes your mind go "yummy".

Le festival du livre culinaire dure jusqu'au 6 mars, donc vous avez tout le week-end pour aller au  Centquatre et feuilleter les livres, goûter du fromage suédoise ou du foie gras français, regarder les cuisines différentes ou ce qui vous met de l'eau à la bouche.

Paris Cookbook Fair varar till den 6 mars, så ni har hela helgen på er att ta er till Centquatre och bläddra i olika böcker, smaka svensk ost eller fransk foie gras, titta på de olika provköken eller vad det nu kan vara som får det att vattnas i munnen på er.

And in a class of it's own, since it's by a legend and it's so fresh it hasn't even hit the counter yet: Alain Ducasse's J'aime Paris  (don't miss Pierre Monetta's fabulous photos from it, exposed just outside the cookbook fair, in the entrance hall).

Et dans une catégorie à part, comme c'est un légend et que le livre est si fraîche, qu'il n'est pas encore disponible en libraire: J'aime Paris par Alain Ducasse (ne ratez pas les photos magnifiques du livre, par Pierre Monetta, exposé juste à côté dans l'entrée).

Och i en egen klass, för att det rör sig om en levande legend och för att boken är så färsk att den ännu inte finns i handeln: Alain Ducasses J'aime Paris (passa på att se Pierre Monettas fantastiska foton i entréhallen).

You can also meet the organizers of the Festival International de la Photographie Culinaire, a yearly festival who gives out awards to great food photography.

Ta också chansen att möta organisatörerna för Festival International de la Photographie Culinaire, ett evenemang där man delar ut priser till årets bästa matfotografer.

So what about the Pacific dancers? I'm not sure what they had to do with it all, but anyway, here's the pic.
